My practice uses primarily emotion focused therapy (EFT), emotion focused family therapy (EFFT), and emotion focused skills training (EFST) to help you repair family bonds and overcome mental health challenges such as anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity issues, exposure to trauma, grief/loss, and stage of life challenges.
Emotion Focused (Family) Therapy
With a special interest in supporting parents and caregivers, my practice relies heavily on EFFT, EFST, and attachment theory to help caregivers support their loved ones and repair family bonds. I also use EFT as a compass when working with individual clients suffering from depression, anxiety, life stressors, and relationship difficulties. As an integrative therapist, I draw from CBT, ACT, and DBT on a case by case basis based on client needs and wishes.
