Psychological Services for Children, Youth, Adults and Families

Find meaning in your life by healing emotional wounds, finding balance, cultivating self-compassion, and developing awareness of the subtle messages all of our emotions are constantly trying to send us.

Therapy is a very personal journey, and I take the stance that each individual has an inner compass that points them in the direction of their own fulfillment. My role is not to alter your compass’ direction, final destination, nor the path it takes to reach its final destiny; rather, I see my role as merging my knowledge in human emotion and behaviour with your life experience to help navigate while you steer your vessel wherever your inner compass is pointed.

What I Do

My practice is currently focused primarily on psychological assessment, with a particular clinical focus on ADHD across the lifespan. I complete comprehensive ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as psychoeducational assessments for students in elementary school, high school, and post-secondary settings.

Over the past several years, I have seen a growing number of adults—particularly women in mid-life—seeking clarity around attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and burnout, often in the context of perimenopause, parenting demands, and long-standing patterns that were never previously understood. As both a clinician and a mother of two neurodivergent children, I bring not only clinical depth but also a lived understanding of how neurodiversity can show up differently across the life transition.

While assessment now makes up the majority of my clinical practice, I continue to offer therapy with a particular focus on parents who are navigating complex or emotionally demanding stages of the parenting journey.

This includes support for:

  • Parenting neurodivergent children or teens

  • Behavioural, emotional, or mental health challenges in children (of any age) impacting family life

  • Differing parenting styles and co-parenting strain

  • The transition to parenthood

  • Parenting through developmental transitions

  • Parental burnout, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm

My therapeutic approach is grounded in emotion-focused and attachment-informed work, with an emphasis on helping parents better understand their own emotional responses, increase regulation, and strengthen connection within the family system.

I bring 15 years of extensive clinical background experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma/PTSD, and grief with children, adolescents, adults, and families, which continues to inform both my assessment and therapy work.
